ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Voocaly provides artificial intelligence voice synthesis and custom voice cloning tools designed for creative production, accessibility, education, and commercial storytelling. Because synthetic audio technology carries the risk of deceptive misuse, this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the absolute boundaries of prohibited conduct on Voocaly.
This policy applies to all visitors, registered free users, paid subscribers, and API integrators.

01. Core Standards
Voocaly is committed to preventing deceptive synthetic media, biometric impersonation, and fraudulent audio generation. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
You may not use Voocaly in any manner that impairs, disrupts, or compromises the infrastructure, security, or reputations of Voocaly, our users, or third parties.
02. Prohibited Uses & Conduct
You agree that you will not, under any circumstances, use Voocaly to generate, upload, distribute, or facilitate synthetic audio involving:
- Non-Consensual Voice Generation & Impersonation: Synthesizing the voice of any individual without verifiable written authorization, or generating audio intended to impersonate another person to deceive family members, employers, financial institutions, or the public.
- Fraud, Phishing & Social Engineering: Generating audio for telephone scams (vishing), financial authorization fraud, executive impersonation ("CEO fraud"), emergency kidnapping extortion, or credential harvesting.
- Election Interference & Political Deception: Fabricating official statements, speeches, or announcements of political candidates, elected officials, or election workers to misinform voters, suppress voting, or deceive democratic processes through deceptive synthetic media.
- Harassment, Defamation & Hate Speech: Generating audio that promotes violence, incites hatred against protected groups, blackmails, stalks, or defames any individual.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM / CSAE): Any generation, depiction, or reference involving child sexual abuse, sexualization of minors, or child exploitation is strictly prohibited and results in immediate permanent account termination. Voocaly reserves the right to report unlawful conduct to competent law enforcement authorities as permitted or required by applicable law.
- Self-Harm & Suicide Encouragement: Audio that encourages, instructs, or glorifies suicide, self-harm, or severe physical injury.
- Malware, Weaponization & System Abuse: Reverse-engineering the platform, scraping endpoints, attacking quota accounting mechanisms, or attempting to exploit audio pipelines.
03. Enforcement, Suspension & Forfeiture
Voocaly applies technical input validation, rate limiting, and other technical guardrails, and investigates reported policy violations upon notice.
- Protective Measures: We aim to acknowledge abuse reports promptly and, where appropriate, take interim protective measures while we investigate. Verified unauthorized voice-cloning reports are prioritized for expedited review.
- Account Sanctions: If we verify a violation of this AUP, we may immediately suspend or permanently terminate the account, purge associated voice clones, and report illegal conduct to law enforcement authorities.
- Forfeiture & Consumer Rights: Where an account is suspended or terminated for a violation of this policy, unused character quotas and prepaid fees may be forfeited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
04. Reporting Violations & Investigation
